    ....I missed the much talked about El Khazi bottle job...anyone care to say what happened?

      Everything that's wrong with the club.

      My only surprise on seeing the replay was that he hadn't just dribbled into the opposition which I initially thought he had as he and many others seem to constantly.

            My version of events:

            El Ghazi makes a good run down the left and a good pass is played through defenders for him to run onto.

            The keeper anticipated the pass and sprints out in a race which is (at worst) 55/45 in favour of EG.

            The keeper performs a classic “keeper desperate to block attacker because he’s stranded” movement by starting to slide on the floor.

            The full speed view from the main camera angle suggested EG put in a weak attempt to take the ball around the keeper.

            The replay camera angle, from behind the goal-line, showed EG not making a challenge for the ball at all. He bottled out.
