There is evidence everywhere that Vincent Tan’s almost unique approach to running a football club (no continuity in terms of managerial appointment, no Director of Football type, no full time CEO, transfer Committee with three out of four members not knowing much about the game, stats like the one above, interest in the club being on the floor etc. etc) doesn’t work, so why doesn’t he make changes which would give him a better chance of getting at least some of the money he’s ploughed into the club back?
