I hope Sludge comes back in 2025.
Like when TLG took a hiatus…things weren’t the same here and I was really happy to see him posting again.

It’s an analogy rather than a comparison as I wouldn’t want to upset either of them by comparing them…they are both foundation stones of this small community though and something of a comfort blanket in a rapidly changing world.

Back to Sludge, I have my disagreements with his unwavering steadfastness in his views.
To see him not return again though would be saddening. I’d happily take a leathering for it to happen.

Sludge can dribble absolute bollocks but who doesn't? He's also a stubborn old prick who probably walks around blindfolded and with cotton wool stuffed in his ears but so what?

Half the stuff he posts is taking the piiss out of himself, there's a few who could learn from that.

As for those wanting him not to return, have a word with yourselves. It's a messageboard not a private members club.

Good post , as you say there are two posters on here I think it was Cyril Evans and Lardy colluded to get a poster banned Simply because they couldn’t accept his/her outlandish views we’re just not to their own taste.

Ultimately if you don’t like what’s being posted, just ignore, simple.

Maybe the break would have done him good. From what i saw the straw that broke the camels back was a couple of pretty disturbing posts sludge put on here that were not easy reading. Mike removed them quite quickly, it wan't nice to read or see. That's all i'll say.
