  • Positives/Negatives

3 games unbeaten has to be a positive and scoring in 4 successive matches for a side without any real recognised striker has to be a plus.

On the negative side, it's now 13 games since we last kept a clean sheet, at West Brom. The last time we went on a longer run was 18 games, which was ended when we managed that rarity of a win over Swansea last season. In 2021/22 we went 27 games without a clean sheet under McCarthy and Morison. Only once have we gone longer, back in 1933, when we went 29 games.

I think we have done well recently in terms of performances, some fight in them, I like the duo of Chambers and Sio even though I haven’t been big fans of either.

We need that quality upfront, not just for the goals but the general play.

    Really need some wins now.

Chambers and Siopis together in midfield have been a revelation. Two players that a lot of people had been ruling out, are suddenly our first choice midfield. Definite progress, I'd say, especially as we can't rely on Ralls and Ramsey being around much longer.
