There’s no denying that Tan has made some daft decisions, by not appointing an experienced manager or bringing anyone with solid football expertise onto the board. This has led to repeated mistakes.

I can't see what this protest will achieve other than frustrating Tan and potentially pushing him to react negatively, perhaps even selling the club to someone worse, someone who might not be willing to subsidise us moving forward.
Can there be much worse? For what he’s spent the club have done shockingly bad as Eric’s stats the other day proved.

I've no idea what the average age is. I reckon I'm a few years younger than one of the 2 on the podcast mind.😂

          I don't see the point.
Tan won't be there, will it even get reprted to him?

Steady now, I’m way off 70….. well until a week tomorrow. But you’re quite correct about it being a struggle to do the walk, I’m off to Tenerife on Saturday, so missing the match altogether :furious:

              Re: Protest

The benefits to the organisers of a protest walk to the ground before a game, is that many people will be walking to the game anyway. It'll give the impression that more people are taking part than actually are.
As others have said aswell, it would be good to know what their aims are. Do they want a D of F with Tan staying? Do they want Tan out or in?

The most curious thing about the protest is the timing i.e. it's when when new signings are usually negotiated behind the scenes.

I only watched the start but it's a Tan Out March.

so it's Tan-out ,(but before you go, please could you spend a few million on a new striker, thanks)

Is that what you're putting on your placard?

Sometimes it's not worth talking to an institution that repeatedly gets things wrong, constantly makes the same mistakes, acts in an inept fashion. If this protest upsets a few at the club or even causes the embarrassment, then that's enough for me. The club do what they like whether we like it or not, they can have some back then.
Agree with this, more dialogue from the club is good but I just feel it is lip service. Dalman is a bullshitter and hides behind Tan.

Actions speak louder than words and things need to change, and quickly.

Agree, sometimes it gets to the stage where enough is enough!

Imagine a protest march demanding a DOF so we can be like stoke. :hehe:

As someone else said its just a vanity thing and with thousands and thousands walking that exact same route at that exact same time it will be sold as a big success but 90% of people walking along the march wont even know there is a protest.

And since when have we as supporters had to consult with the club over such matters? They've had enough chances to even get things half right, and they haven't. If people get upset by it, then so what, that's on them, and if they want to punish the fans then that's also on them. Can't walk around worried what might happen all the time.
