You can also say the win puts QPR above City in the table - remarkable considering they were two points and two places behind the Bluebirds when Mick McCarthy took over.

I still wouldn’t write them off, not with all the fortune that falls their way. It’s hard to compare how we have done in the playoffs as it’s usually been abysmal, but the only time we won back in 2003 we lost our last home game I think and didn’t look good going into the playoffs....

If they can play Brentford in the play offs then they should make the final.

Then they will be one game from the premier league. Given how this season has gone, it’s going to be a dubious last minute penalty that gets them promoted
