  • Go for it Omer Riza

It's safe to say that a fair number of City fans don't feel he's the right man for the job of being our manager - I'm on the fence in that I hope he does well but have few expectations, think we could do much better, but Riza is at least better than Bulut.

A win today would help his case in the short term and maybe change a few opinions of him.

If we're not 1 down in the first 10 minutes we have a chance!

Or down to 10 men because of a cheating JB and an idiot of a referee

            This is what worries me.

Go for it with a high press, get the crowd behind us.
New boy comes on to save the day if need be.

Me too! I just woke up. The game is on the telly and I'm feeling pretty good about it. About to make some coffee.

I think Riza deserves a huge amount of credit for that today. For him to even be there in light of the passing of his Dad, shows his commitment to the club. Thought he got the lineup and substitutes about right, clearly motivated them at half time as they came out flying, and managed the game and neutralised Swansea really well whilst still playing some attacking football.

I know he lost his head a bit towards the end, but isn't it nice to see a bit of passion from a Cardiff manager around a derby game?

Wouldn't have been my first choice, but he's really growing on me, and into his role. Long may it continue.

He got it spot on today, he had some tough decisions to make at CM and RB but he got them wrong. At kick off I thought playing Ralls was potentially a mistake but the result and performance speaks for itself.

Well done Riza especially considering the circumstances.

I think I'm probably correct in saying that if Ng was playing today he wouldn't have been on the pitch at the final whistle. Riza got that spot on..

I really wasn't keen on his approach in the media when he first came on the scene because I was with those who thought he lacked dignity by looking scruffy and coming across as pleading for the job, longer term.

However, I think he's spoken well recently and I really liked that aggressive side which ultimately got him sent off.

Bagan was excellent and is now a better defender than O'Dowda, strangely his going off helped and we improved.

Well done Riza, spot on today and made the tramps look like utter shyte they are.

Bagan has always been a better defender. It’s just O’Dowda offers more further up the pitch (often one of only a few so he gets the job). I’d prefer COD further forward anyway.

I was thinking that when O'Dowda went off, but I think I remember Bagan doing some good work going forward a few seasons back
