Our Chief Scout has moved onwards and upwards to Brazil after just over a year.

I remember him being appointed, but his name was never mentioned by the manager or chairman when the recruitment process was discussed.

Seems he might have been the one to pick out Wilfried Kanga as our future goal machine!

How many top half Championship players have we signed in that time? Robertson? Is that it? The others have serious question marks hanging over them or have just signed. I'm not exactly gutted he's left given the money we've spent.

I genuinely thought Cardiff’s player recruitment ‘structure’ consisted of random scouts calling the manager/chairman to offer their players that nobody else wanted.

I thought this too, followed by offering twice the market value, a tripling of wages and an absurdly long contract based on a YouTube highlights reel.
