  • Magnus Eikrem

On the scoresheet for Molde tonight in the EUFA Conference League. Difficult to understand why we signed him as he'd only scored 8 goals in about 80 games beforehand. Probably just his connections with Ole.

And OGS"s agent. Very, very murky business.

he was the star player in Ole's molde team, hardly a huge surprise he'd want to bring him here.

obviously didn't work out, but I think he was a better player than he showed for us

He was a squad player at Heerenveen. One of the many players Solksjaer signed that he never really gave an opportunity to and who were never up to the standard required. His transfer dealings with us should be looked into in greater detail as football's nice guy took us for a ride.

Left CCfc and went to MFF and did quite well.

Eikrem bossed the midfield. Mats Moller-Daehli was also on the pitch for Molde but non existent.

Shamrock lost 5-4 on pelanties but had so many chances to win it in the 90 minutes. The Molde goal was from a bad error from the keeper. Shame for Shamrock, they were the better side, had 8 senior players missing and finished with 5 teenagers on the pitch and the two 16 yo were very impressive.
