    They seem to cause more problems than those that are manned.
    Bar codes, cards not working.. whereas a simple glance at a ticket would be more seamless. Especially in older grounds with smaller turnstiles and concourse areas.

    Next you'll be saying paper tickets are better! Or self service machines at supermarkets don't always work really efficiently!

          The most difficult thing to master with those self service checkouts is getting the attention of the person who is looking after them. Fair play, they've got looking everywhere else apart from 'Your' direction down to a fine art.
