Strangely, first time I've seen that. My dad wouldn't take me so I listened to it on the wireless. One of those matches, you had to be there....but wasn't.Comment

IIRC Gary Bell hit on head by a "missile", ref wouldn't alow treatment; They score;
Ref forces us to restart, GB still down, they score again,...

I was there and it was a magical occasion but for me it was eclipsed by our efforts in getting to the 1968 ECWC semis. Making the last four in the company of AC Milan, Hamburg and Bayern Munich still makes me feel proud.Comment

It was my second season in watching the City and probably the greatest result I have seen in beating, probably, the most famous name in European football.
However, in the cold light of reality it was far from a great Madrid team and we were knocked out after losing the second leg.
Then again since when did reality really trouble any football supporter and it will remain as one of my, if not the best, memory of watching this club.Comment
