Re: Rubin Colwill ?????
Playing him on the wing might aswell not play him wasted out wide.Originally posted by Hilts View PostI think they all did. I don't think the 11 in the pitch knew what they were doing. A complete shambles. Virtually all of them. He was also on the wing again. He was very poor as we're Virtually all of them.

Re: Rubin Colwill ?????
Nobody played well yesterday, although in fairness to Colwill, of the two or three things that were semi decent, he was involved in all of them to some degree. He wasn't a dedicated wide player because that would be a bit dull with him, he can't play that way, he switched on a few occasions, and he was coming inside looking for the ball quite a lot, which is pretty standard these days. Lets not get revisionist though, he has struggled in a 10 role for the bet part of him playing there. He's better in a more central role, but the margins aren't huge. I'd like to see him further back, with more of the game in front of him, where he can use that long stride and attempt to break lines in possession.

I hear what you’re saying. See the Villa game for an example of what could be possible.Originally posted by Tuerto View Post, I'd like to see him further back, with more of the game in front of him, where he can use that long stride and attempt to break lines in possession.
Yet, I can’t remember him producing anything like the unsettling runs that Fish and Mannswerk did against Luton.

Against Villa he surged forward on a number of occasions. Mannsverk was ****ing awful last night, too :hehe:Originally posted by Crisp White Lines View PostI hear what you’re saying. See the Villa game for an example of what could be possible.
