Neco and centre halves (mostly)
Jordan James off the bench
The crowd
The feeling throughout that wales would win

Negatives:
The starting 11
The formation
The non-existent midfield in the 1st half
The link up play across the front 4
The lack of getting anything out of Brennan (I’m not blaming Brennan for that)
The substitutions

Onto Macedonia. I’m expecting a quite different starting 11 but who knows with our manager. I haven’t guessed a starting 11 yet!!

Yes, i find it impossible to predict Bellamy’s teams and I think I always will - wonder what the approach will be on Tuesday?

what the hell is the trigger in the press:shrug:

* A player receiving a backwards pass, not facing forwards on the field.

* A player receiving a pass out wide, close to the touch-line.

* A player who possesses significantly weaker quality in possession receiving the ball.

* A player taking a bad touch, hesitating, or receiving a slow pass.

Watching Cardiff City's opponents should make things a little clearer!

As others have said, he must have been keeping Jordan James fresh for Macedonia, because there's no way Sheehan should be starting ahead of him otherwise.

Given our lack of depth and options in central midfield, I've always thought it would be worth a go playing Neco Williams in there. I remember him starting there in a friendly against France and he did well for 30 mins before getting harshly sent off for a supposed handball on the line.

Definitely has the ability, engine, quickness, and football IQ to play there IMO, especially against weaker opposition.

I seldom get too annoyed by commentators and the lady one didn’t bother me too much last night, but that bloke always rubs me up the wrong way. He’s always getting excited by moves that, invariably, come to nothing and he would do much better if he let things develop more and then let his voice rise if it comes to anything. As it is, he gets all excited at things like crosses which are routinely cleared by the opposition defence and sounds panic stricken every time the ball is put into the Welsh penalty area = he’s a living advert for showing that commentating isn’t as easy as you might think it is.

For some reason I got the impression he is a City fan. He might not be, but it might explain why he would get excited about a ball played into the opposition box, and likewise get a bit panicky at the other end 👍🏻

As others have said, he must have been keeping Jordan James fresh for Macedonia, because there's no way Sheehan should be starting ahead of him otherwise.

I agree with you but Sheehan's done ok when he's needed to step in to be fair to him

I agree. Bellamy is definitely working hard at building a squad ,and having players who can come in and do a basic job when needed is a huge bonus with our limited resources.
The re-emergence of Sorba Thomas continues to please me too. It will be a real luxury to have the 'headache' of whether you can play him, James, Wilson, Johnson and Brooks together at some point.

Agree completely with Sorba. I hope the same can happen with rabi and Tom Lawrence. The more options the better - just hope a combination of 11 sensible ones walk on the pitch!

I spent the whole game on Saturday thinking Sorba didn't play well then got home and realized he got two assists :hehe:
