I guess he's had more pressing issues to contend with - clubs often have a loan manager these days to oversee that side of things

Good point , but to not speak to him at all ? He was on first team bench for a few games .

Isn’t the point they go out on loan to “grow up” develop on and off the pitch. Don’t think the manager should be catching up with him every week. I’m sure he has bigger concerns.

Seems like an unnecessarily nitpicky thing to be slagging off Riza about. How many players have we got out on loan? Must be about 10 I’m guessing.

If Riza had been here 4 or 5 years and signed all of them or seen them come through the youth setup then I’d be a bit surprised with the lack of contact, but he’s been manager for 6 months. He’s probably barely met half the players we’ve got out on loan. It’s someone else’s job to focus on the loan players whilst Riza focuses on keeping us up.
