Of course you do. But then you’re a deeply weird individual who developed a bizarre fixation with Bulut from day one simply because the word ‘Futsal’ was mentioned on his Wikipedia page. The fact that you’re still pining after him is both hilarious and idiotic, but it’s no surprise.

Bulut was an awful manager who sanctioned some terrible signings, including that of Omer Riza. The football under him for many months was stale, negative and ineffective. He and his coaching staff led the team to the worst start to a season in City’s entire history. He got what he deserved - the sack - but the truth is he never should have been given a new contract in the first place.

Bulut was an awful manager, should never have been given a new deal. He loves to spin the media tho.

        Bulut 12th
Riza 22nd/23rd, with a better squad, but tries to play and scores the right type of goals for some

Terrible to watch but no fear of relegation ever, in hindsight should have been changed at the end of the seasonn to an expereinced manager, the problem is we all knew if there was a change it would go to a cheap coach to have a little go at being a Manager.

No chance they played better, but that squad was weaker, but better organised and more settled.

Eight games, way too short a period to judge when we have a full season.

People are all now acknowledging that was a tough start to a season.

But I get your point, he had a terrible start despite the tough games had to go as he had lost the dressing room.

Riza would look far worse if the players hadn't given so much with his new Manager bounce, that early run boosted his results but over most of a season, he's fallen way short.

Bulut was shite - deserved to be sacked, at the end of last season.
Riza is shite - deserves to be sacked and should never have been in charge for a single game.

Bulut was far less shite success-wise, as he finished in the top half of the table. Before him and after him we were/are a relegation team (saved on points deductions) but agreed.

Grant walks into our team. McGuinness and Phillips walk into it. There's 3 players who make a massive, fundamental difference to the way we play. Salech is the only player that gets into last season's team automatically, therefore, we had a better team last year.

You can make an argument about some of the centre mids but that's like moving deck chairs around the Titanic, fat lot of good it'll do.

Erol Bulut picked up 40 points from his last 38 league games. In that time frame, we scored winning goals in the 95th+ minute 4/5 times? That is clearly not sustainable. The wheels had fallen off, the gearbox had packed in, and the steering wheel had disintegrated. He was useless. We conceded 70 goals last season for Christ's sake.

Us finishing 12th last season was the worst thing to happen, it allowed everyone at the board to pat themselves on the back and some of our fans to believe we weren't completely hopeless.

I think all three would look far worse with Riza, he would have had them try and play the ball out from the back and would have shattered their confidence, this squad is a lot better, a proper Manager would add so many points.

Tan's just thrown £millions down the drain by not replacing the Manager, he had about 20 to chose from.

Summed up well. Riza was lucky he followed Bulut as any improvement gave him favour with some. It wasn’t hard to better the appalling football of Bulut. Has it led to more points? I doubt it but it’s been easier on the eye albeit not a lot lately. Any thought that Bulut should have stayed is bizzare.

We’ve hit a new low on here discussing who’s better between Bulut and Riza.
That’s like being a kid on a children’s hospital ward, being told that Jimmy Saville’s visit has been cancelled, then 5 mins later hearing the sound of didgeridoo coming along the corridor !!
