Been on a few pod casts the last few days

If we did go down the figure of losing 7 to 8 million quid in revenue seems the figure being banded about

Without stating the obvious but does that figure ring true ?

thought it would be alot more

I looked at the accounts of a few championship teams and a few league one teams and I put the difference at around £6.5 million per season. based on TV money only.
there was an article recently that had it at at £7.5 million, so not far off.

we probably almost have that covered through senior players being out of contract and wage reductions in other players contracts kicking in.

as mentioned on another post the player turnover will be enormous next season if we go down !

A lot our players don't have wage reductions, Borley confirmed it

We debated this in the pub after the game, whether players would have wage reductions in their contracts and all came down on the side of the club being too stupid to put them in

this has been discussed a few times recently on pod casts

I would guess O Dowda , NG ,Robertson and Robinson would have clauses in there contracts

can't think of any others maybe chambers ?

The players signed in the summer won't. Players who renewed under Bulut won't. COD and Robinson wouldn't have signed a contract like that either. It'll be bugger all.

with so many players out of contract its difficult to see how it all pans out but fair points raised there but i think Robertson and COD will leave if we go down tho

Only Goutas, Rino, Ramsey, Ralls, Collins, AEG, Yak and Ralls are out of contract. I wouldn't keep any if we were to stay up bar Ralls.

We have about 20 senior pros that are under contract for next season, someone has got to want to take them off our hands. We've also got the amortisation problem. We won't be able to sell Daland, as we'll have to record a loss as we decided to spend £4m on him :hehe:. He'll be worth £3m in next years' accounts, so we can't afford to write that off.

Only Goutas, Rino, Ramsey, Ralls, Collins, AEG, Yak and Ralls are out of contract. I wouldn't keep any if we were to stay up bar Ralls.

the transfer committee not Bulut made a bad mistake with Daland .

as for Ralls would be perfect in league 1 if we go direct next season . would be first on my team sheet and club captain too again

Rino, Rallsy and Yak must be worth a contract imho

We've got some absolute garbage signed on for next season. We won't be able to keep everyone we want to as we won't be able to shift everyone we don't want.

I don't see why we wouldn't be able to keep hold of anyone we didn't want to sell
