  • Tom Cleverley

Has left Watford, pretty sure it’s not to come to Cardiff.

He was sacked according to the BBC.

Watford’s owner deserves a relegation almost as much as Tan.

    Madder than us

Since the sacking of Nigel Pearson just under five years ago Watford have had nine full-time managers. The club started this season positively and were sixth after beating Portsmouth on Boxing Day with a game in hand on most of the division

Hull might be about to sack Ruben Selles too. Allegedly lining up Tony Mowbray.

        Re: Tom Cleverley

Watford won just two of their last twelve matches, losing seven, and they failed to score more than one goal in any of those games. They collected just nine points during that time. We picked up eight.

This sacking is no surprise in any respect.

If true we should be all over that, seemed to do well under awful ownership at reading.

Cleverly, Selles what did they achieve (win) to get those big jobs?

Be an assistant, then drop down to see if you have the minerals for the main job. I don't blame the coaches, its the manic next big thing phenomenon that are just wild punts from the clubs that is daft.

Leading is lonely, hard, and character-building; you improve every day. These are leadership roles, not tactical masterclasses.

It all started to go wrong for them after we beat them.

He was linked with us after we got rid of Bulut. Did a good job at Reading as you said, and kept Hull up (just).

The analysis in this story and what looks to be unanimous condemnation of the decision b Watford fans in the comments section suggests otherwise.

Watford sack head coach Tom Cleverley after the team failed to reach the Championship play-offs.

Cleverly was there from March 2024 until now.

Calendar year, 2010, as opposed to season.
