Re: So what happens now?
What happens now is we take an age to appoint a new manager, by which time all of the best options are no longer available. then we give it to someone already at the club, but too late to bring in their own players or stamp their own style on it

Re: So what happens now?
I don't think he will change, he hasn't in all these years and will probably see City's relegation as vindication of his scepticism of so-called football experts. Choo and Dalman will probably continue to try and be a bit too clever with their choice of manager - nothing so boring as picking someone with good experience at league 1/Championship level for them. Regarding Ramsey the only sensible option other than him leaving is a coaching role. The playing side was a sentimental failure and if you're looking to promote a player from this squad to manager, it would be Joe Ralls ahead of Ramsey.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View Post

Interesting. What makes you think Joe Ralls might be managerial material?Originally posted by A Quiet Monkfish View PostI don't think he will change, he hasn't in all these years and will probably see City's relegation as vindication of his scepticism of so-called football experts. Re: So what happens now?
The words root and branch come to mind after reading this piece,I freely confess that I’m not a coaching expert but for the last few seasons I just can’t discern any pattern to the way city are set up or play, I remember watching games under Malky when, although it may have not been the most exciting to watch, I could see the banks of players on the pitch and what they were trying to do,now it’s just so slow and frustrating.Whoever is brought in to manage the club and I’m sure, when that day comes we will all have our misgivings for different reasons, I would just like to be able to discern a pattern in our play and a bit of speed going forward. Hopefully, the process will not be drawn out and the new manager will have a bit of time to put his stamp on the team before what,I’m sure is going to be a critical season for us as a club.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View Post

Re: So what happens now?
We can fill our club full of top quality football geezers, but if they still have to run everything by Tan and get him to agree then it's doomed to failure as he has plainly felt he knows better.
He needs to bring in a proper structure and let people do their jobs, preferably full time people running the club day to day.
Then get a proper manager.
Then maybe a few years later we will make our way back.

Re: So what happens now?
I drove past CCS earlier. Not sure what to make of this, but it seems they're installing a chimney out of the roof of the Ninian Stand..Originally posted by Undercoverinwurzelland View PostIt feels like as Cardiff City supporters we're constantly waiting for news these days - whether a manager will be sacked; whether an interim manager will be appointed as permanent manager; who a new manager will be; and now what the outcome of this "review" will be.

Re: So what happens now?
So apparently we've asked the agents Wasserman to help us in the search for a new manager
so a good chance it'll be one of their clients?

Well, there’s one out of work manager out of that lot that stands out to me - he used to play for us, but would he drop down to League One?Originally posted by Rjk View PostSo apparently we've asked the agents Wasserman to help us in the search for a new manager
