    2- a straight 2 year deal
    3- a straight 3 year deal

Think in this present climate option 1 for me

    what's yours ?
I quite liked the rolling 12 months deal we had with Jones by the end

The 12 month rolling works financially at first glance but I can't help feel it just encourages short termism which ultimately has cost us far more.

If it's a random punt on someone sure 12 months, if it's someone we have identified and are excited by then I don't see the problem with a longer term deal.

To save a bit of money. Why don't the club announce all the fit and eligible players on the Thursday before the game, Then this message board picks the starting eleven for Saturday. During the game a coach could read the comments and tactical suggestions from this forum and act on them. We could then take it in turns doing the post match press conferences by zoom,

Just a 12 month deal, no option.

              Let's not give them ideas.

                Robbie Keane.
                Surely not.

                  I’d prefer Roy Keane

                    End of May hopefully🤣🤣🤣

They really are laughable. The only positive is maybe they are waiting on managers who may be interested currently at clubs.

If we appoint Buckingham or Evatt after all this though then FFS they are behond hope.

Why are you so desperate for the club to rush into another appointment?

The board have got so much wrong in recent years. Rushing into another managerial appointment for the sake of it would be absolutely idiotic. I'm glad they're taking the process seriously for once. It's vitally important that they get it right this time.

                        That's some revelation!

Whoops - I've managed to "un" into "and" there somehow. That would be something special, even for him!

They reckon there are about 10 names on the shortlist now.
About the only thing he's managed to achieve since being here 🤭
