Jack Cardiff was an incredible cinematographer. His work on the films of Powell and Pressburger was groundbreaking. It still looks amazing today given the age of the films.
He died in Ely in 2009.

Dave ninian had a chip shop back in the 80's in splott, He had two kids, one he named Len after the great Len davies and the other Alan after the great Alan Harrington, Both were girls and they hated the names they'd been given.
