Maybe this will help bring an end to the comments about City only having one right back? Congratulations to Ronan, perhaps he might get some game time against Liechtenstein.

No place for Rubin Colwill again.

Big mistake not picking Biancheri, who has accepted the trading squad offer from Canada.

6 past and present Cardiff players in the squad

I think it's interesting that Craig Bellamy prefers Ollie Cooper to Rubin Colwill in midfield.

            Their Championship stats last season:

            Rubin Colwill - 24 (+19) appearances, 1 goal
            Ollie Cooper - 10 (+18) appearances, 1 goal

Whichever way you look at it, it's clear that the Wales manager doesn't rate Colwill (at present anyway). I wonder if Bellamy will get the sort of criticism any of us on here get if we dare to suggest Colwill is ineffective?

I saw he'd had an offer but hadn't seen he'd accepted it.
Lawlor's had an offer from Ireland too.

If he wants to play for Canada, then that’s his choice, good luck to him.

                    No huge surprise there

Bellamy sure does love his wingers mind, 8 who can play there by my count!

We should have more confidence in ourselves than this

If Biancheri wants to pick Canada then that's his decision, bit of an odd one considering he's Cardiff born and bred & played throughout our youth teams, but if he feels Canadian then good for him

The only present player being our youth team's right back

Not sure if that's a positive sign or not!

Having read the report from the Man Utd website, it looks to me like he's simply weighing up his options at present and taking the opportunity to do something different. It doesn't sound like he's committed either way yet.

Can we please not turn this into yet another thread about the pros and cons of Rubin Colwill?

As for Biancheri, he's eligible for three countries so who are we to say which one he should pick. I think he's doing the right thing exploring those options before committing to a decision he'll have to stick with for the rest of his career.

Congratulations to Kpakio, too. Could be a big season coming up for him.

Yes, sir. Understood, sir. Sorry, sir. I won't mention the big, gangly elephant in the room again.
