When will the club release the retained list? Or will we have to wait until the new manager has been choosen first so that he can try and sort the chaff from the wheat?

The club had to submit its list to the EFL on 17 May (clubs involved in play offs had a slightly later deadline) so presumably decisions were made without a manager in place.Originally posted by noodles View Post

All the retained list is a list of under contract players. It's not that difficult to work who is on it.Comment

When made public, these lists usually include details of one or two players the clubs concerned have offered new deals to.
Perhaps City's hierarchy don't currently want to offer anyone another contract until the new manager has given them his blessing, so they're hanging fire on making the list public until he is appointed.
Or maybe they've just forgotten...Comment

Give them a chance.
It's on the to do list after the signing off of the minutes for the annual tuck shop committee meeting and the last interview for some temporary uplift to management role.Comment
