Lee Riley is a football coach currently serving as an Academy Coach at Manchester City Football Club. He also holds the position of Talent ID Scout - European Emerging Talent for City Football Group. Previously, he worked at Rochdale AFC, where he served as First Team Assistant Manager and Youth Development Phase Lead Coach.
Here's a more detailed look at his career:
    Manchester City Football Club:
Since November 2021, Lee Riley has been an Academy Coach at Manchester City. He also works for City Football Group as a Talent ID Scout, focusing on European emerging talent.
    Rochdale AFC:
Before joining Manchester City, Lee Riley spent several years at Rochdale AFC. He was the First Team Assistant Manager from March 2019 to August 2021, and prior to that, he served as the Youth Development Phase Lead Coach (13-16) and Professional Development Phase Coach (U18).
    Morecambe Football Club:
He also coached at Morecambe Football Club, starting as an Under 18s Assistant Coach in May 2010 and later becoming a Youth Coach.
    Other roles:
He was also a Residential Social Worker and Football Coordinator at Wennington Hall BESD High School. He also played for Accrington Stanley Football Club Ltd as a YTS Scholar / U18 & Reserve Team Player.

He could be useful still with the Man City Academy and a european talent scout.

I'm pleased he'll have the opportunity for a clean sweep and to bring in his own trusted team. A full reset is exactly what’s needed right now

        That seems positive.

We need a good coaching staff in place, I get the impression that we were running with a much smaller number of coaches than some of the other clubs last season, and many of those were just promoted from the u21s

if thy can also sort out the physio/medical department out as well that would be a big help - lost count of how many hamstring injuries we had last season.
In a recent interviw with Dave Jones, he said at the time he was here, we ad a really advanced medical department, were working closely with the university hospital and had almost no muscle injuries as they had a real focus on warming up and warming down properly - i wonder how that expertise has been lost along the way

It’s pretty normal for a manager to bring back room staff, not sure why people are surprised. Another who took Rochdale down.
