Will he get a testimonial ? He certainly deserves it.

Sounds like BBM making his mark with him and Rino gone.
I doubt BBM has had anything to do with it. We were told we didn't have to sell players, but anyone who won't negotiate a massive pay cut is out.

But for the players retained they agreed themselves to a big pay cut - it is in their contract terms following a relegation

Rallsy was happy with the money, just not being in BBM's main plans, so game time would be too small for him

The statement thanks BBM for being completely honest with him, which indicates he wasn’t going to get much playing time or not in his plans.

How definite can BBM's plans be before he's recruited any players?

I highly doubt it. He’s leaving the club but not retiring . Be pretty ****ing weird,

Maybe he feels Ralls doesn’t fit the profile of player he sees in that position. It’s his gig now, he calls the shots and I respect him for not taking the easy call.

Me too, big decision but at least he’s made one. It’ll be very interesting to see if we ever mention the decision again.

Maybe. But despite his injuries, to me Ralls just seems like the kind of player you want to keep around to get out of League One. Same for Rinomhota, same for Meite.

Meite is nailed on to return to Reading and score against us, probably a Rinomhota assist

Not if you are going to try to drastically change the style of play and the players in question do not fit that system. Our midfield play has been dire for over 10 years, something needs to be done.
