  • The dreaded bleep tests.

Who was the winner of the bleep tests on the first day of pre season training? Rubin Colwill it seems.

    Bleep test success for @RubinColwill #CityAsOne https://t.co/AipEgJvwpW

    This feels like propaganda.

they did the same last season, I think Eli King won then.

unfair advantage for Rubin though, he probably does the distance in about 4 strides

I know but there’s no way Rubin won surely? One box-to-box run and he turns into Bambi on ice.

I’m struggling to believe he’s the fittest player on the team right now.

he covers a lot of distance during games, and has very high tackles/interceptions etc for an attacking midfielder - something that has increased year on year since he made this debut.

I was definitely surprised to see who won, but Colwill’s running style always makes him look like he’s struggling, whereas his brother looks naturally athletic. I suppose it could raise questions as to general fitness levels in the squad.

Interesting to see that Rubin was favored to win by quite a few of the squad.

Exactly, the stats back up that Colwill covers ground and is decent enough defensively, but some have made their minds up about him being unfit/lazy and just won't hear it

Trying to guess who you’re talking about. Is it Bellamy? Ramsey? Bulut? Or Riza?
