didn't you go downstairs in Buzz, or am I thinking of some other shithole.

Panama Joes was Astoria, and became a few others as well IIRC.

Emporium was probably the best club in Cardiff IMHO. However Labour changed the licensing laws at the turn on the millennium, bars started staying open later, and club culture died as a result.

We'll never see anything like it again.

Just finished watching the Prodigy set. Blew me away, they were fantastic. Best gig I've seen for ages. Watching Pulp now, pretty good.

They are playing in Cardiff next April as part of their tour, I’m not sure if I was just losing it but I’m sure I saw tickets for £180 each which is a pisstake of massive proportion. Same tour in Birmingham they were £100. And it’s at the shithouse arena

Panama Joes and Astoria were the same place although I can't remember the order of things. Buzz & Co was a shoe shop at the end of High St Arcade but also used to sell tickets for club nights and concerts for some reason. Buzz was the name of he owner.

Buzz was also a bar / night club opposite Old Orleans. Go downstairs and very much a sticky floor type venue.

Think theres just hospitality tickets left for Cardiff. If you fancy a trip to Glasgow theres tickets available for £45.
