The adage of the first ten or twelve matches determining a managers future isn’t always right or fair but there is no doubt that a good start not only delivers points but also confidence, momentum and a belief in the process.

More than ever we need a good start from whoever plays - we cannot be tentative - the points come first and individual performances and careers come second.
I don’t want to see established players performances falling short, maybe feeling sorry about the league that they are in or trying to find their form - I’d rather see new faces giving it everything and believing that they can win and PLAYING TO WIN.
