  • Preseason on CCFC TV?

One of the best things about last seasons preseason, was the ability to watch almost all the games on Cardiff City TV. Does anyone know if they intend to stream this year too? I like to put faces to names and in the new BBM era it'll be good to see how he wants to play, especially in the absence of any home preseason friendlies.

I think we can forget about the two behind closed doors games and the match at Yeovil is now an under 21 fixture. That leaves the two matches in Spain and the one at Notts County. In recent years, the games we've played on the continent during training weeks have been shown, so I'd hope they'll be, but I would have thought we'd have heard something by now if they were going to be shown - can't see why the Notts County match wouldn't be shown though.

Is watching pre season friendlies really important? The thought of watching one on TV / laptop is strange to me but we are all different.

I for one think it is ridiculous that supporters are even charged to go into what are basically training sessions. The club should open the doors and let fans in. Charge for drinks but why should we pay to watch practice games?

I wonder if we'll have a "glamour" friendly at home before the season starting

You shouldn't have much trouble putting faces to names at the moment.

Hopefully they do something, can't say I'm always too bothered but have before now tuned in to them. I'd say they should just throw them on YouTube like they do the u21.

Not a chance. Clubs are all sorted out with their schedules. The season starts in 4 weeks!

I'm not as au fait with the U21 players as some and I live in hope of signing or two before the Notts County game.

I see that Cardiff City TV are advertising both Spanish games as being available to stream, £5 each.
Those interested in viewing will have the option, those with no interest will undoubtedly be able to get updates here.

As someone who occasionally pays to watch the live away matches on CCTV, I'd be interested to know how many other people are doing the same thing. Do we have any figures for the number of people paying to watch games on CCTV?

I tend to pay for the preseason games if I'm around, I'm fortunate that I can pay a fiver a game, often they aren't the greatest matches especially the second half but I am intrigued how we'll line up and how we progress ahead of the season.

Last season I saw Notts play four times and City twenty times. So I'll be struggling on who to support, not. Hopefully, we'll have a number of first team players signed by then.

Wales Online did an item on this a few days ago. The Ng explanation was:

"In the case of Ng, the right-back sustained an injury on the first day of pre-season and is likely to be out for as long as five weeks, which means he will miss the start of the League One season."
