I didn't see it, but the Guardian accused him of murdering a song. Weird how murder and kill have completely opposite meanings in this sense.

I listen to Bill Burr's podcast and he always says his fellow comedians 'murdered it' on stage. Meaning they were fantastic.

Although every comedian I've ever heard always praises their pals no matter how shite they are.
