        R.I.P. Wyn

Only saw him play a couple of times in the flesh, both times for Wales at Ninian Park in the Home Internationals.

What a cracking header that goal of his was against England

He played for both Manchester clubs as well as Newcastle, so he must have been pretty good, but I remember Ron Davies as being the real class act in the Welsh attack in the late sixties and early seventies. We used to play a front three of the two Davies’s and Toshack sometimes with all of them six foot and over in an era where people tended to be a few inches shorter than they are today.

          RIP

You'll not see nothing like the Mighty Wyn.

Did we not used to sing that during Wales games or is my memory failing,

            RIP Wyn

I seem to recall that Wales also picked John Mahoney up front to keep Wyn and Ron apart

I think Mahoney did play up front when he made his Wales debut around about 1967, so you may well be right.
