That would be a really crap signing for that money. Double what we paid for him in his prime!

You'd imagine he'd be on decent money too for his last contract. People fretting about how we're going to do this season and the standard of our squad should really take solace in the fact that a squad with George Dobson, Elliot Lee, James McClean etc as key players managed to get 92 points

I think we need some balls in the team, pace and winners. We have too many losers in the squad. I know lots of managers used to speak about it all the time, Warnock definitely said on a few occasions he didn't like to sign players who got relegated because of it (obvs it is Warnock so you need to take it with a serious pinch of salt!)

he is a proven goal scorer though, yes getting on a little now, Sheff Utd are interested in McBurnie by all accounts, I know who I would rather for another year, its KM

Playing for us was as good as it got for him with goals to games ratio

That was five years ago. Since then he's gotten older, slower and had a few injuries keep him out for a while

Promotions in 3 years buying experienced players for the division they are in.

They’ve got enough money and other revenue streams not to worry about buying young olayers for development and making a future profit purposes.
