Is there a worse message board than this one ?

Technically, that is. Can't access, can't post, duplicate postings, etc, etc. Goes down when very busy. It's been like this for ages. The other place doesn't ever have these 'tech issues', so it's not something that can't be sorted once and for all.

It's not the fault of anyone on the board - there are obviously some glitches behind the scenes and it must be frustrating for MM.

At least we have quality posts to read!

I'd say there's more traffic on here than any other ccfc message board so that would have an effect.
There's only about 25 on the other side and about 12 of them are the same people.

Technically, that is. Can't access, can't post, duplicate postings, etc, etc. Goes down when very busy. It's been like this for ages. The other place doesn't ever have these 'tech issues', so it's not something that can't be sorted once and for all.

There's so many things wrong with this board these days and it's worse than ever on my new Apple laptop. Among the things I have go wrong on are;- ;-

1. Being kicked out about once every ten minutes and having to log back in again often meaning that I lose waht I've been posting.
2. Long delay before what you type appears on the screen.
3. Screen "freezes" and goes blurry when I post a message..
4. In the last few days, I've been getting a blank white screen sometimes when I press on a thread title and have come off the site and then open it up again to get it back.
5. Letters I didn't type appear when I type something with inverted commas or a possessive comma.
6. Adblocker seems to ahve a mind kf it's own when I use this board - it's fine everywhere else.

I've had the problem with the delay between me typing and it appearing on the screen for as long as I've had the laptop, but all of the other things have been going wrong in the last three months or so.

Just for the purposes of diagnosing the issue; I tend to type on my phone. It's android. I don't recognise any of the issues mentioned above. It works fine, except for the fact that the website seems to be down more often than I would expect.

Obviously you never quite know if it's a poor signal or whatever, but it definitely seems to be unaccessible significantly more than most.

I've had the problem with the delay between me typing and it appearing on the screen for as long as I've had the laptop, but all of the other things have been going wrong in the last three months or so.

I've been told there is an update (or three) required to the software that runs the board.

It’s a lot worse on my newest computer (my Apple Mac laptop). I’m using an Apple tablet now and I don’t get most of those problems i listed on here - apart from the blank, white screen one anyway.

Since the slow loading/running some weeks ago, the site is working very well for me on Android.
