The incident when Joel Colwill failed to reach Tanners cross was again awful refereeing. Colwill was being held back which ultimately stopped him getting into the box in time.
That referee was utter shit.

Didn't realise the refs could get worse than the championship

I think “breaking them down” was probably true of the first half albeit we overplayed too often across the edge of their penalty area.
In the second half they posed the bigger threat and our goal was certainly “against the run of play”
Our style is a great improvement on last season but it has to break teams down.
There were a number of occasions when our players on the edge of their penalty area had their backs to their goal!
Nevertheless, a great 3pts

I wonder if Tan has a few ringgit on how many headers we score as the concept of the shot from near, or in, the box seems a bit of a novelty to our players....until (almost) 92nd minute last night. Following Tan's orders?

You mean other than the game where two awful offside decisions saved us from defeat?Originally posted by Jimmy_Tango View PostI do feel like many of the refs so far this season have been out to get us - though appreciate I could be blinded by my favoritism :hehe:
No arguments about that ref yesterday though, he’d have been crap at parks level. The standard has been a massive step down from Championship level.
