I know we all have a go at the board and rightly so but we should also recognise what a great job they did in hiring this manager.
Gavin Chesterfield is the one to thank for BBM. I've seen him take a bit of stick on here but that guy knows his football and what it takes to be successful despite not having a decorated history in the professional game. A good man and I hope he gets his just rewards and recognition in the future.

He was on the committee who drew up the long list and did the initial interviews. My understanding is that he was adamant that it should be BBM because he believed he was the right man to develop the academy boys into first team players. I realise the knock on to that is obviously the academy looks good and therefore Chesterfield does as well but nonetheless. I could be wrong of course but BBM name checked him in his first interview as well.

we're playing good expansive high tempo football with a young team. There have got to be plenty of premier league younger players that we can pick up on a season long loan, as our style is typical of what is being played today.
