Is it quite often that on match days this MB is not available? i get lots of "time out" messages .
Can we improve the site ?

It's not quiet, this board is knackered and need serious work as it errors more than it's available. Timing couldn't have been worse today for a outage lasting several hours.

@Mike is there any way the historic message data can be migrated to a new MB provider rather than sticking with this board and hoping for software updates? Or is it a different issue like bandwidth size?

Error I get is 529 which is bandwidth/total requests related. I’m not sure what a software upgrade would do to fix that on the face of it, but devil is in the details.

They run the footy-mad network and assosciated messageboards, they have done for years and years. I don't know whay it's got so bad lately.

Last couple of weeks in particular it seems to be unavailable more than available. I know shit all about how things like this work so I'm not complaining and couldn't begin to offer advice, just answering your question.
