But he has previously publicly stated that he would never play for Cardiff City. On that basis why would we want to sign him in the first place or why would he sign. Would you have recommended us signing Lee Trundle or Allan Tate in the past using the same logic ?

It makes me chuckle when after scoring a goal you see some of 'em kissing the badge.
