Just got back from the Millennium Centre after watching his performance in Nye. What a superb actor he is. Wonderful show with a very talented cast.

Re: Michael Sheen
I'm glad you enjoyed it but what were you thinking? You missed a Premier League game.Originally posted by splott parker View PostJust got back from the Millennium Centre after watching his performance in Nye. What a superb actor he is. Wonderful show with a very talented cast.

Re: Michael Sheen
That's good. Posters like me, you and TOBW need to get on message with this Premier League thing. It's all the rage apparently.Originally posted by splott parker View PostThis situation is what Betamax is for:thumbup:
I should get round to seeing Nye, I'm sure it's very powerful and inspiring. I don't know that much about him but I remember having to study the 45-51 government for a course once. It was amazing how much they got done and the changes they made but Bevan would've gone further if he could have. God only knows what he'd make of the rabble we've got in charge now.

Re: Michael Sheen
There can be no denying that he is a top bloke, being born in Newport.
His acting skills first became apparent to me when he was playing a part “Wilde” with Stephen Fry playing Oscar.
Since then his portrayals of complex Englishmen have been superb.
As has his philanthropy.
The “No non Welshman, to play a Welshman” thing pissed me off though as well as his association with Neil Gaiman.
Worst off though, was him giving a speech to the Welsh Players.
Stay in your fcking lane!!

I saw it at the National in London a few months ago. It is easily the best thing I have seen for ages.Originally posted by splott parker View PostJust got back from the Millennium Centre after watching his performance in Nye. What a superb actor he is. Wonderful show with a very talented cast.
