Watched this last night on iplayer. It was a great watch and it was interesting to see how Keegan spoke about Joey Jones.
I expected Mickey Thomas to be emotional and Keegan wears his heart on his sleeve always but there appeared to be genuine respect and admiration towards Jones.
I'd seen Joey Jones a few times speak with Mickey Thomas. He seemed like a really genuine bloke, no drama or bragging about his career (unlike other ex Welsh internationals I've come across) just very humble about who he was and what he achieved.
I'm at that age where Joey Jones was one of the most recognisable Welsh players and whilst at Liverpool a bit of a star.Comment
