Or if it's pure football, when we lose, a lot on here are pretty negative and love a loss to rip the players and team, there are still a few trying now, when we are playing brilliantly and winning almost every week, saying it's a shit league, etc.

There are some that have gone completely now that we are winning, and a few that are posting significantly less.

I did think it was funny last week though that there was plenty of talk about the forthcoming cup tie at Wrexham, who we apparently don’t care about, but precious little discussion about the league game at Wigan, which was only days away.

I'd say that there are around 40 regular contributors these days, but seemingly plenty of people just viewing.I wonder how it compares to its peak, actually when was this place at its peak?

I'd say peak was Sam Hammam / Dave Jones era.
It does seem to have gone particularly quiet in the last year.

I think this message board reflects the modern obsession with every individual game being of vital importance - hence overreactions to wins/ losses, versus the longer-term term bigger picture view. Definitely seems to be less activity overall in comparison to when I first joined.
