She was a brilliant actress and in a lot of top films (not just Woody Allen).
My favourite film with Diane Keaton was 'Looking For Mr Goodbar'.
It wasn't a great film, and I haven't seen it referenced in any of the obituaries I've seen yesterday or today - but it made a massive impression on me.
A dark film but she lit it up!

I remember seeing it on TV a LONG time ago. I think I still lived at home. As you say, very dark. I really wasn't ready for that ending. Certainly a change of direction for Ms Keaton.
