Nah don’t think that’s true, at least not currently. Yes Torquay hate Exeter but Exeter don’t consider them much of a rival anymore. The Exeter / Plymouth rivalry is incredibly strong from both sides.

Couldn't get over poor Plymouth looked, considering they were a Championship club last season. They look more like they are headed in the direction of League 2, rather than back to the Championship.

Torquay is closer than Exeter to Plymouth, but I don't think they are serious rivals. It's hard to find much to hate about a club like Torquay..

Must have played eachother in 2017ish?

Interestingly, I think Plymouth is now the largest city in the UK (and one of the largest in Europe, surely) to have never had a top flight team.

Couldn't get over poor Plymouth looked, considering they were a Championship club last season. They look more like they are headed in the direction of League 2, rather than back to the Championship.

At the end of last season many were predicting Plymouth to go straight back up as they "knew the league" and we would struggle with the physical approach at this level.

I was being Flippant, Nobody got it, not surprised really, i really need to touch up on my Flippancy :hehe: What i am sure of though is that Devon is infested with very strange people. Natural Selection has some power lifting to do down there, and that's coming from a Welshman.

Interesting fact about Plymouth. I can't think of another city as big as Plymouth which hasn't played in the topflight.

A few years ago, I remember Hull often being quoted as the biggest but of course they have now played in the PL
