  • Stoke and Coventry….

Both doing pretty well in the championship, Stoke’s turnaround from relegation fodder is particularly impressive. Guess they’ve both managed to employ 2 decent managers, co incidentally around the time we were looking for a new one last season after bulut was sacked. Was Robins mentioned for us? Nothing against BBM here and now but just goes to show how important a proper manager is….

The Championship is recognised as a very open league, but I think that applies even more this season. It’s as interesting at the bottom of the league, where you have a team like Sheffield United in genuine trouble as it is at the top. I quite fancy Coventry to go up, but I’ve not seen anything of Stoke. Sides like Preston and Hull look genuine top 6 challengers as well, whereas relegation looks more likely for someone like Southampton.

Hi Bob, good to see you back so to speak, exactly, with Norwich down there too, such a weird championship this season could be some more big clubs in league 1 next season.
