“Ollie Tanner is back on the pitch now, he’s running. He’s had ankle surgery so it gives us a big boost to see him on the pitch. I still wouldn’t put a timescale on when he’s likely to return.

“Chris Willock and Perry Ng joined us in training on Monday and I guess there’s a question mark over how ready they are for Saturday based on what they’ve been through. We’re still trying to give them every chance to be competing for a place in the squad.”

Good news about Tanner, hopefully he's ready by the New Year, was expecting him to be out until late this season.

‘On the pitch’, that’s better than that ‘on the grass’ stuff. At least it’s football related, on the grass, the player could be out the back mowing the lawn or smoking the wacky backy.

At last night’s DA meeting, BBM said, when Tanner was asked how he was feeling, he replied “I’ll be back for the Chelsea game” :hehe:


After much laughter, BBM said they may be looking a little bit after that, but he also said “it’ll be like having a new player”
