Thank you for sharing, just donated. He was a real hero of mine.

Sad news. It would be nice if the club could put some money into this.

Just donated. Almost gave the automatic "tip" to GoFundMe too. Just noticed it in time. It is not compulsory..

Although still a long way from reaching its target, it’s good to see the amount pledged almost treble in less than a day.

Just donated as well. I have given to several causes but didn't realize that you can opt out of the tip. Thanks for the tip (no pun intended)

Just giving this a bump, some big donations in recent days, but I would have thought there'd be a better response than the figure raised so far.

I have donated but maybe the club could have put a £1 option on tickets in the two Xmas home games as an option would make a dent in it?? Appreciate that doesn't capture season tickets holder ?

                      Just a thought

I donated a few days ago as Don was one of my first Cardiff heroes. I can still recite that team Davies, Carver, Bell, Sutton, Murray, Harris, Clark, King, Toshack, Bird. There are a few very generous donations but I wonder if anyone can show the appeal to some of the current team as they might well be generous knowing they might be affected in the future.

That's a good idea. Give the club credit though, they've just put a reminder on their website

I see the appeal has now just about made it into five figures, but the total number of donors still seems disappointing to me.

Seems they are quick enough to add a levy when idiots damage away grounds so shouldn't be a complicated thing to do - 10 home games left to do something hopefully
