  • Rate My Barnet.

A slow day calls for a little reflection, contemplating the things that were or are important to you in life. So, I thought that I'd share my top three city players whose crops were most impressive. In no particular order:

    Tarki Micalef
    Roger Gibbons
Earnie (He had so many styles, our David Beckham if you like)
And a special mention for Darren Purse, who I thought was losing his hair due to the skin head look. Not so, a lovely crop on him.

Any other City players worth a mention?

That's a great shout, how could i forget. His girlfriend had a cafe at the end of an Arcade opposite the castle, i think it may have been boarded up or incorporated into an adjacent building, loads of little strange shops and stalls in there, very Bohemian. My and my mate would go there for food before a game, she was absolutely stunning.

What was that wine bar / cocktail place on St Mary St. On the left as your walking down from the castle before the Borough. Wimbleton was in there regularly. Its doing my head in now trying to remember.

Mike Ford had an impressive perm and Mullet when he was first at the club.

Id have Bob Hatton before Earnie and his zig zags.

              Tarki has to win.

                      Fred Keenor.

He achieved that crafted haircut in the 1927 FA Cup Final a full year before Brylcreem was invented!

Speaking of weird Barnets. I recently came across this Irish bloke that played for Chelsea in the late '60s. Let me find him.

                            All hail John Dempsey!

My search was "irish player chelsea 60s hair"

Ralph Coates was a beaut, very Charltonesq but much worse.
