Re: Off Topic patio slabs
I group patio slabs with driveway pavers.Originally posted by ninian opinian View PostWhat are the best ones out there. No limit on budget and I want ones that will look good for years (if possible).
Best advice - view both which have been in situ for at least five years to check fading and other issues.
And check out how porous slabs/pavers are.

You can pay what you like. The sandstone slabs are very porous and the quality varies. Take a trip to Whitchurch Builders supplies and speak to Len, they have a huge range and are knowledgeable.Originally posted by ninian opinian View PostWhat are the best ones out there. My old man does patios/landscaping for a livingOriginally posted by ninian opinian View PostWhat are the best ones out there. No limit on budget and I want ones that will look good for years (if possible).
He's just done his garden in porcelain and they look stunning to be honest.
'Crazy paving' has massively gone out of fashion for some reason

Re: Off Topic patio slabs
Porcelain definitely the way to go and way easier to clean/stay looking good tooOriginally posted by ninian opinian View PostCould you advise where your dad bought his porcelain slabs from please?
He goes to different places depends on what stock comes in and sizes required but I think predominately I think he uses Cardiff Slate and Stone
If you want a quote give him a ring but he may be fully booked up 07557 737937
