I feel it would be a terrible idea. There is no evidence yet to suggest Ramsey will make a good coach or manager. He needs some genuine experience in coaching and/or management before taking on the top job at a club like Cardiff City.

His recent spell in Mexico demonstrates his decision-making isn’t always the best. I didn’t want him to get the job in the summer and even less so now.

I don't think you can put the Mexico period in the "no" pile, maybe he wanted one last adventure and had one eye on the World Cup being out there. That said, we've seen what a proper manager can do to with this squad, last thing we want to do now is go back to the "he played here, give him a go as manager" hiring system that we had before

        3 (+3) appearances, 1 goal.

It seemed a bizarre and pretty desperate move when it was announced. So it proved.

I think that his agent has something to do with the club in Mexico.

A man that leaves his team mid-season because of a dog should never manage a football team. I don't know the full story, but if it's true, I wouldn't employ him at any level. How can he ever question another player's commitment?

There’s no evidence he would make a bad manager either. It’s not going to happen anyway, but I reckon he’d be more inclined to stick pretty closely to the BBM blueprint than many we could appoint.

I still don’t understand what happened in Mexico. I thought originally that Ramsey and the club agreed to end the contract by a mutual decision - based on his injury record and distress at losing his dog. Then it was reported that he was surprised and disappointed that his contract had been terminated. Clear as mud! And none of the dozens of media reports on the situation answered the most basic questions. If his contract has been ripped up who did it and on what grounds? Did Ramsey walk away (contract penalties) or did the club decide (contract penalties) or was it a joint decision (no penalties on either side). The reports are contradictory and inept.
