Yeah, McGregor, I meant, but I’m now thinking it may have been Brian Murphy and there is a million pound at stake.

I can't ever remember Brian Murphy playing a game for us. He obviously did, but i can't recall it.

He came in for four or five games just after Christmas that season. He definitely played in the 1-0 win over Villa when Joe Ralls scored and he played in the 3-2 win at Bristol City when he scored an own goal after a shot rebounded off the woodwork, hit him and went back into the net. The Preston game wasn’t too long after the wurzels match, but I think we probably signed McGregor in between the two of them.

I think Murphy played those games after Etheridge was dropped possibly after the poor Xmas period in our promotion season. Warnock brought him back though.

This clip has Whitts in it and is I believe Warnocks 1st season. Im pretty certain Ben Amos was in goal v Bristol City when we beat them 2-1 at home. McGregor played later on that season. Id say its McGregor.

No, Murphy definitely played a few games around this time of year in Warnock’s first season and that game with Preston was played in late January or possibly very early February.

Salech for me but I do love a Richard Shepherd commentary.

Purple Patch Ken Zohore for me.

Although I’m sure Salech will turn out to be a much more reliable, prolific and important player for us.

Jesus, that's impressive memory recall. I've realised over the past few years that i take very little in, even though i thought that i did. Good work

Would have been more impressive if I had’nt thought we had a Scottish snooker player in goals for us :hehe:

I'm being pragmatic, so i'll just say that the best goal was the one scored by the big Danish lad.

Zohore by a nose for me but I agree, great to hear his commentary on that.

Salech for me, very difficult finish and that's the hardest part. Put it the only place he could.

                                Two great goals
