I see that Etete is coming back from his ‘disappointing’ loan at Rotherham.

I wonder if BBM and his way of playing would suit Etete and at last unlock his potential?

(I suspect that BBM would have already brought Etete back, if he’d thought that he could do so though….)

I can't see Etete's sort of languid playing style quite fitting with BBM.

Showed flashes of potential just hasn't been able to do anything consistently or stay fit enough.

Not sure there’s anything to unlock. A football player that looks like he struggles to run is never a good starting point.

I had high hopes for him. His speed and height should have had him at least doing something.

He was letting himself down on his positioning, finishing and went down too easily as was slightly weaker but that could have been improved on with training.

Looks like his heads gone now from what I’ve read where he’s barely broken a sweat although has been hampered by injury.

I hope there’s still a player there but I have given up on this one.

Loan and someone had the great idea to give him a two year contract. Mind blowing.

I thought initially there was something about him that could be developed, sadly for both him and us he just hasn’t kicked on
Obviously injuries haven’t helped and maybe that’s the real issue, his body just isn’t up to the demands of league football?

Desire and commitment have to come into it when you’re fully fit and he will need that if he has any ambition to get near this squad
I’m impressed with BBM and his man management skills and he will know in a heartbeat if Etete has a chance to succeed here

I wouldn’t be surprised to see that he’s going out for another loan and told his future lies elsewhere
