Really enjoyable guest on the Cardiff City phone in tonight - came across as a nice, very grounded bloke.

Fascinating insight into those often dark days of 1980 - 82.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostReally enjoyable guest on the Cardiff City phone in tonight - came across as a nice, very grounded bloke.
Such a turnaround of managers at that time, he mentioned a couple I don't recall at all.

Re: Peter Kitchen
Got to that game just in time but we went into the Swansea 'end' which was along the length of the pitch, in order to save us going all the way round to the Cardiff end. When Kitchen scored a Swansea fan standing to my right spat at me. I had the red mist and went after him, up through the ranks of Jacks on the terraces oblivious to any self-preservation. He got away but I actually saw him outside the ground, had 'words', and left it at that - probably just as well.Originally posted by Chilled of Llanishen View PostBought back a great memory of his equaliser at the Vetch Apr. 1981.
